Sims 360 Health and Safety Solutions provides health and safety consulting, training, program development and leadership to various clients throughout industry. Sims 360 Health and Safety Solutions will develop a scope of work to fit the client’s needs working to be a valued partner to achieve success.
Lara has over 23 years of experience in the mining industry in the U.S. most of that with a focus on health and safety. During 15 years with Rio Tinto, Lara was integral in assisting with ISO certifications for safety, health, and environmental management. Lara has extensive experience in health and safety learning and behavior-based safety, focusing on caring about workers. Lara is devoted to preparing leaders, training teams, mitigating risk, solving problems, and preventing injury and loss.
Lara is a lifelong learner with a Master's degree in Safety Services from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and the following certifications: Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Colorado Surface Coal Mine Foreman Certification, MSHA Oxygen Deficiecy Certification, MSHA Surface & Underground Instructor Certification.
